Jarl figures prominently in the pedigrees of many American-born Norwegian Forest Cats. He is the first TICA Outstanding Sire NFC and the grandfather of the first CFA Distinguished Merit NFC, Kopejkaat Tressa Skogpus of Koryn. At the age of 9.8, Jarl, who had spent many of the intervening years, getting his Double Grand Championship in AFCA, as well as in siring a number of litters, became a CFA Champion under his CFA name Trollsford Jarl of Kopjekaat.
